Our Workshop schedule for
August 2008 is simple:
Wednesday mornings at 10
a.m. at The Garden Path. I
have 2 workshops for you.
Wednesdays, August 16 and
20: Bouquet Bash.
That means that we will
be working with our market
bouquets. I supply
everything- flowers, knives
and lots of enthusiasm. You
can bring your favorite vase
type container and we can
design in it, or I will have
vases available at
reasonable costs. We will go
through how to buy flowers
for a bouquet, and what
makes an attractive, long
lasting arrangement.
:Everyone goes home with a
finished vase design in the
Dutch, hand gathered
technique. I say these
workshops last about 1 hour,
but it usually goes for
closer to 1/12, so everyone
can have time to enjoy. When
you leave you will be able
to create these yourself.
Wednesdays, August 16 and
20: Pave'ing the Way
This is a technique that is
relatively new, and from
Germany. it is a different
kind of centerpiece, and I
love it for the late summer
selection of flowers,
branches and berries that
are here now. It is
creative, easy and you will
use this for lots of great
ideas as we approach the
winter season too.
